Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician (RADT)
Your counseling career begins here! Becoming a RADT is easy. We’ll help you along the way.
9-Hour Orientation
This course will orient the student to important fundamentals in counseling ethics, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
Education
Professionals must submit proof of completing 45 hours minimum of college courses each year. See the career ladder on the CCAPP website.
Application
Begin the application process in our electronic system named Certemy. Everything needs to be completed in full, which is indicated by all green bubbles.
Experience
Once your application is approved, professionals may begin earning work supervised experience. Visit our job board at jobs.counselormagazine.com.

Complete the CCAPP 9-hour orientation course. This course will orient the student to important fundamentals in counseling ethics, confidentiality, and professional boundaries. A foundational understanding of these topics is essential to a successful career. Upon completion, the professional will need to submit the certificate of completion in the electronic application in Certemy.
